Writing Guidelines

Note: This page will be updated to include more information as the term progresses,
so always check back for every week's assignments. You'll be reminded to do that, as well :-)

Any assignment with "WG" in front of it must:

be turned in, in the appropriate folder
be typed and double spaced
have 1-inch margins all around
use 12-point Times New Roman font only (which is what you see here)
be spell and grammar checked and
be proofread by YOU, according to the grading rubric for that assignment (rubrics will be posted below)
include citations if you quote, paraphrase, use, or reference any words, thoughts, or ideas not your own

for citations, you may use the Citation Machine, at http://citationmachine.net/index.php?reqstyleid=1

look in the left-hand menu bar to figure out what type of source you are citing (book, article, web page, etc.)
click on the type
fill in the information on the form that pops up, to the best of your ability
hit submit
copy and paste the provided citation into the bottom of your paper

have a page header with the following information:

                  WR 90 Bianco                            Your Name                              Due Date                                p.#

                                                                                   Assignment or Essay Title
